About the artist
I live with my family in Texas, the state with the most beautiful sky, where the giant fluffy clouds are drifting so close to the horizon that it feels like you can reach them with your hands.
Being a Physical Therapist Assistant, I work in a rehabilitation center helping people fight cancer.
My artistic journey started with a small box of watercolors, a gift from my mom when she visited Houston. One rainy day I opened the box and plunged into the colorful world where I lost track of time. Since then I have been studying how to be an artist. Reading books, attending workshops, enjoying pleinairs, participating in exhibitions; all of these are a great learning experience.
I like to travel and whatever I go, a little sketchbook, pencils, a box of watercolors, and a simple set of pastel are in my backpack. Inspiration could be found anywhere, even in the most familiar objects around us. You just need to look at them with admiration and gratitude.
